9 mm is still scoreable for a decent price but you gotta be quick. Got a case of S&B for $189 from Sportsman's Guide ten days ago. Still hasn't shipped.

Picking up some .32 from a fellow POOFER this morning.

.223/5.56 is still like 37-40 cents a round, or even more in the classifieds here.

Luckily, I'm pretty well stocked on most calibers, and I have enough .22 ammo for several lifetimes. I guess im stupid too.

After being a new gun owner in 2009, I kept my vow to never be in that situation again.

I'm a gatherer of most things a little bit at a time over time. Until recently I only really shot 9mm and .308 but in the last year I have added 3 more calibers to the safe and have been gathering with the same MO and I have bought each of those three in decent sized batches for reasonable prices, even after the scamdemic came into play. I have enough 9mm that I could probably gouge some people for it but I don't play that game and when I shoot with friends and they need ammo I just ask them for the same price I paid for it, if anything at all. That S&B was a good deal and if I was a member at Sportsman's Guide to get that price I'd have bought another 1000. But I'm not so I didn't.

Sounds like you're just jealous that other people have more disposable income than you do.

Just came back from meeting a fellow POOFER. Picked up 2400 rounds of Fiocchi .32 for 10 cents a round.

I'm even more stupider, and I owe McSull a finders fee.

If you were old enough in '08-'09 to be aware of the firearm and ammo shortages and associated price spikes throughout most of Obama's term and you didn't take advantage of the recent good times, welcome to history repeating itself. If you're new to all of this learn from it.
