Imagine Philly passes an ordinance banning 30 round mags. A company sells them by mail to a city resident. That resident shoots up a church or a concert or whatever. So the greedy next of kin sue the seller, because violating a law is negligence per se.

How many magazines do you have to sell to make enough after-tax profit to pay for defending a bullshit lawsuit? With a Philly jury? And a Philly judge?

Blame the pandering a-hole demagogues who run those cities, not the sellers who choose not to play in their games.
Is the bolded part there even legal? I thought gun laws had to be passed on the state level in PA? Yes, i realize legality hasn't stopped bad laws before.

If looking for a specific mag, go to the manufacturer's site and get the UPC code. (some vendors list the UPC as well)
    Search using that.
I often find much different results than by searching by the name of the item.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

When I lived in a suburb of Denver, CO the City/County of Denver got away with banning AR-15's and magazines over ten rounds. The State courts upheld it. Hickenlooper (from Narberth. PA) was Mayor then.

Some states have preemption laws, some do not. All should

Well, just talked to my buddy, he called them just to see the specific reasoning and he said the woman told him that it was an “executive” decision based on the fact that they don’t know all the laws and regulations of the Pittsburgh area..so she was pretty useless. My friend isn’t as up on politics and gun laws etc as a lot of us are and So he doesn’t have the “ammunition” to pepper her with more detailed questions. I just told him to stay away from them anyhow from now on because they most certainly are not cheaper than dirt..
