    Default Need recommendation for FFL

Now that I have moved to Pennsylvania, I need to buy myself an AK, probably from Arsenal.

Can anyone recommend a good dealer to handle the order / transfer in the Pittsburgh area?

I doubt anyone has stock for the particular model on the shelf...

Depends on your area and/or the time you'd want to pick it up. I've dealt with Pittsburgh FFL in the past. Pretty sure they run typical 8-5 business hours. It's in McKeesport so you'll want to scoot before the sun goes down anyways.

If you're in the south hills I can give you the name of a good kitchen table FFL.

I usually go to Steel City Guns in North Versailles. He's very close to PMSC, and is very reasonable on prices. Also a great guy to go to for reloading stuff, he's well stocked.

I don't live near NV, but PMSC is my club, so it's kind of a pick up and play kinda deal.

Great guy with tons of reloading stuff. I think he charges 25 bucks which is pretty good for the area

If your in the northern suburbs anywhere, a trip to Dukes is worth your time. Great group up there, always super friendly and very attentive. I make it a point to visit them at least every few months. Take 79 north to exit 99, go west on 422 for about 10 minutes. They're behind the local magistrate building a few miles after the Living Treasures Animal Park.

Yep, been there too. Transferred my USP Expert from a buyer on Armslist.

What kind of FFL are you looking for? Full service with things to oogle at, or kitchen table pay, PICS, and go?

I'm just looking for someone to order and receive/transfer the gun to me. Looking at picking up an Arsenal, Inc. model SAM7R-61, if they are available.

Keystone Shooting Center (925 SHERATON DR, MARS, PA 16046) Does transfers for both members ($25) and non-members (not sure the price). Also has rentals and a range. Some weekend deals for the 4th as well.
