Some of this stuff i have left over from other builds (YHM gas block etc). I*d really like to do an 80% forged lower for this, in part because i*ve never cut one before and have a poly80 308 lower waiting to build out when i get out west again. Plus, well*fuck the atf lol.

Pretty set on the LJ*s ambi safety, they are ridiculously nice and cheap-ish. Short throw and more comfortable than anything else i*ve used (doesnt ride the index knuckle on the grip)

BCG i considered JP LMOS but not sure it*ll cooperate with my intended fcg.
No sweat I'll be working on laser projects all day anyhow

The beginning of something wonderful. 16” 300blk rifle. This build is quickly turning into 2 builds.

Building an AR15 is so much more difficult than building a DPMS LR308. So many more manufacturers of parts to choose from and makes compatibility a bit of a headache.

Finished up the Guntec kit build in 16” 5.56, picked up second lower today and put together the 8” 300blk side fold/charge takedown build. Still waiting on the folding Fab Defense grip to show up (backordered for another 2-4 weeks, assholes…) and the drop in trigger my buddy is giving me from his 6.5gr pump gun. For now its wearing milspec trigger and the aluminum anodized grip from the guntec rifle kit, for range testing purposes. Slapped it all in a bag i found at Allentown show last weekend thats perfect for an active shooter kit with a magpul d60 drum and a couple spare pistol mags for the EDC gun, plus IFAK/TQ. Should be able to mount to my plate carrier, somehow…

Is a km tactical slide. Serrations, rmr cut, and lightening window cut for $149 shipped. Can't hate on that.

Sweet. Cerakoted? picked one of their g17 slides up in aztec blue to top off a Ti blue lower but im kind of disappointed in the quality tbh. The cerakote is flaky in places, has a spot of orange peel about 2” long, and is really tight in the rail channel. Hard to rack and doesnt fully lock into battery unless i let off the trigger entirely
