I had never shot a mortar, or even seen one shot in person. I wasn't sure if this was going to be "worth it" or fun, now I don't know how I lived without one!

    Here's 2 videos of the 81mm mortar firing: https://imgur.com/a/ylFGqYc

First one is slow motion and short range.

    Second video is 86 yards.

Data from trying different amounts of Bullseye pistol powder, all at a 45 degree barrel angle:

So now I'm going to use 32gr at different barrel angles to make a firing table.

The shotgun hulls after firing, holes are from the gas venting out the holes in the fin tube. To load the launch charge you take a 12 ga shotgun fired hull, replace the primer, pour in the powder, then pack it completely full of fiber wads. That's all there is to it.

This one was at a shorter distance, further out they almost completely bury in the semi dry ground:

I got an NSB-1 sight for it, which I'm still trying to wrap my head around, but so far the rounds land where I point them.

Welded up the lower holes in more dummy rounds to make them ready to fly.

Oh, and I painted the CETME L.

That's awesome! Maybe you could sell your services to WCMG for some of his events.

I built some pontoons for my drone. They have not been tested on water yet but they do fly around the 'hood just fine.

    LOL

V 1.01 was unstable but V 1.02 is showing some promise.

Built a 300 blackout upper for one of my SBR lowers. Not sure what optic I*ll get but leaning towards a Eotech or Aimpoint.

    Today was a good day!

    300 yards would be impressive.

First AR pistol build just completed.

    Pre-build questions in this thread . . . https://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.p...18#post4798618

Probably taking the advice offered there to put a K2 grip on it. Whole kit from Durkin Tactical was $275 shipped, so plus the lower and associated fees about $330 total.

After a 154 day wait, Form 1 approved and I could finish this Sten Mk 5 semiauto SBR.

    - Pakistani Sten Mk 5 parts kit from Apex
    - New Mk 5 barrel from Apex
    - Semi bolt, striker conversion parts, and front trunnion from Indianapolis Ordnance
    - Semi extra thick receiver tube from McMaster-Carr
    - Repro Mk 2 metal stock from Sarco, I like the look of this a little better than the wood stock the kit came with
    - No 9 Mk 1 bayonet (I need to find a scabbard for it)
    - Repro sling from Apex

The cold blue turned out pretty good on this one (Brownell's Oxpho-Blue).

    Cycles dummy ammo fine.

Now it's ready for test fire and tuning the bolt and striker springs.
