Re: What did you build yourself
The newest venture (I mean aside from the others that are in progress) an old school poly 80 specter frame I had laying around with a Glock 24 slide.

Re: What did you build yourself
Put this little guy together last night after finally being able to pick up my receiver/handguard set from Bluestone.
Still have to attach the barrel. Searched all around York, every hardware store and auto part store, but couldnt find a 1 1/8" crows foot wrench anywhere. Had to order one online and now its gonna be another week before I can attach the damn barrel.

Re: What did you build yourself
Thanks. The Star Wars theme cosmetics aside, its a really easily maneuverable little beast. Pretty light and a lot easier to swing and aim than my 16" AR. I put the barrel on hand tight just to see how it looks, (after lapping the receiver face) and put a regular A2 flash hider on it, though Im thinking of getting a blast diffuser for it to push the gases and blast out in front.
As much as I love it, I already wanna build me another one. An M16A1 clone. Get some of those classic, Vietnam era, Fortunate Son blaring from a helicopter over rice paddies kind of vibes lol.
