Does anyone know what this is?
I would love to know anything about this thing. It is made from old cartridges but I'm not sure what it was supposed to be. A pen? Does anyone have any idea about the rounds themselves?

Looks like 6.5x55 and some WW1 trench art.

Re: Does anyone know what this is?
I googled your suggestion and while it wasn't quite right, it did lead me to the correct round (I think). I am pretty sure that the smaller of the two rounds that make up this thing is a 6.5x52 Carcano round. I found pictures online with the same strange crimp on the case neck.
The other round has a slightly bigger diameter and the bullet is obviously much larger.
Thanks for the lead!

If the inner tip is metal, it reminds me of a wood burning pen.
Would make sense for the time and place for making signs.
Just a guess. How can you have any cookies if you don't drink your milk?

Trenchart for sure. Add 6.5JAP or 7.7JAP as possibilities for calibers. South Pacific, WW2, The Big One.
