Can I sell a revolver mfr'd in 1970 to a C&R FFL as a private citizen?
I've got a revolver with the date 1970 stamped on the box, looks original, and the dash on the model number puts it right in that date range. Can I sell it to someone with a C&R FFL? Just curious, thanks in advance for your input.

Yes it is legal if 50 years and one day or more since it was first sold. However, it is a lot "safer" to wait and either obtain the original bill of sale or until 2021 when the 1970 "figure" is more than 50 years old. THE C&R holder should tell you this as s/he will have to enter it into their bound book with your detail as the seller. Dave_n (FFL 03 holder for >20 years)
