What I learned
On the way to learning other things. I have found out that the hardest thing on your brass is when it gets ejected and bounces off the concrete pad you're standing on. It seems that the mouth of the case gets out of shape from bouncing and does not fit into the headspace Gauge. I found this out on my 9 mm once used brass, but when I put it in the Lee de-primer the mouth case gets reshaped, and drops right into the headspace gauge.
Don't laugh, it only took me two years to figure that out. Joe

Re: What I learned
For brass with badly misshaped case mouths bell the case before resizing.
