    Default Travel question

Good Morning everyone. It has been a long time since I stopped in here. I have a carry question for you all.

I am planning on making a trip from PA to VA to pick up my daughter. My question is this, where can I find information on whether or not I can legally carry my firearm on this trip?

I am pretty sure MD is a no go but I am not sure about WV or VA. As for MD can I just keep it locked up till I pass through? I would be going through western part of MD. Any help would be appreciated Thank you in advance.

MD must be transported under FOPA (unloaded, in a case that is in trunk or remote part of vehicle that lacks a trunk).

WV has Constitutional Carry and reciprocity with PA - carry as you like.

VA honors licenses from all states.

    This!

If stopped in Maryland don't volunteer any information.

Read up on specific laws for WV and VA. www.handgunlaw.us is my favorite source.

Actually from his area I-70 South to US 522 is even shorter. Just do not speed in that area.
