Milling a Hellcat slide
So... I recently picked up a Springfield Hellcat. I bought it because I found a great deal. However, it was the non-optics ready model. It was the only model they had at the time and it was going to be a while before they got more in. So Now that I have decided that I want to put a red dot on it, I contacted Springfield to see if I could just purchase the optic ready slide. I cannot!!! So can any one recommend someone near the philadelphia area who can be trusted to mill and drill the slide?

Re: Milling a Hellcat slide
It's just a slide so restrictions on dropping it in the mail (insured of course) to use and out of state gunsmith is no big deal. No FFL required.
I would look for a shop that specifically does Springfield slides. They will be most knowledgeable about what the in's and out's are of doing one.
