FYI we're going to have help with security. I'll post details when we have them settled. These guys have been with us everywhere, from Pittsburgh to Richmond and Harrisburg.

From a legal standpoint of this not being an "official" rally now, whats the concern of a long-rifle vs a pistol-style firearm? Or maybe I'm missing something else.

As an aside, has anyone contacted the capitol police just to give them a heads up that we are coming anyway? Nothing but a common courtesy to those guys who have always been cordial in years past. Happy to make the call if others feel it's a good idea.

I contemplated pistol + long arm and decided pistol only, since I will be carrying a backpack and a sign on a stick. I'm not trying to prove my worthiness to a DI, I'm attending a rally.
