Clearfield county was warm but not nearly as bad as last year, I would imagine it was similar at the shoot.

Sorry JDA but there was a nice breeze all day and as long as one was in the shade of a canopy it was nice. Low humidity does that. Friday was downright rude but we got lucky today.

Hot? Hell, I had a genny running two high velocity fans all day.

Yep, Gixxer had a double-wide with walls and AC. I stopped by to visit. It was nice.

Ha! Hey man, live and learn. 9 times out of 10 it's usually the hottest recorded day of the year and you have to keep the queen bee comfortable. In past years I've run some small box fans off a deep cycle battery and an inverter but the inverter would overheat. Another year I tried stuffing the inverter in a cooler with cold packs and that worked a little better. This year I wasn't going to dick around anymore and got the hundred dollar HF genny to run some REAL fans with a real power source and it worked like a charm. Might just seal up the double wide next time completely and build a wall to hang a 5,000 BTU AC in it haha. I could have gun ports out the front side and keep it at 60° inside and everything. Shit, might as well pull in with a camper and shoot from the windows.

Would have been more fun to shoot the quad, though.
    Agreed.

So what your saying is, you're gonna get some practice for when the S really HTF and you want to keep cool in the big igloo.

Damn, you are quick and that's a fine job! My biggest regret is not shooting the clays but I was petering out and didn't feel like going up there at the time.
