Leaving to head over now. Carrying the big iron today, so I won't be as hard to miss as usual.

I wouldn't mind trying the K2. I've been thinking about getting one of the compact versions, if I ever find it in stock when I have some cash. I'll throw some 45 ammo in with my stuff.

It's a beast that shoots like a kitten. I've seen them go for $379 (not lately) which is the deal of the century for a few pounds of hammer forged steel.

The stainless version that Classic had a few weeks ago was tempting but I have other things higher up on my list.

What a fantastic day, as always!

Thanks to Greg for welcoming us again first and foremost. Thanks to all who came in to help set up day before and a big thanks to Rob for helping coordinate things and cooking the bacon. Also have to give an ENORMOUS thanks to Walleye Hunter for letting my son and I shoot the 50 BMG, it's not every day or sometimes ever in a lifetime do you get to send one of those down range and it will be an experience my 13 year old son will never forget.

Got to meet some new people, hang out last night around a campfire with two stand up members and got to get some trigger time on a few gun "firsts", can't beat that for a good time I say.

Can't wait for the next one, nothing more enjoyable than making these experiences and memories together year after year.
