Checking Ravensburg State Park website and as of 6/5/20 the campsites, swimming areas etc are open now. Any local knowledge to the contrary RL?

I haven't been there in a month, but we did officially go "green" this week. I'll stop by Tuesday and see what's posted at the camp area.

Nice clean spot, never camped it. around 45 minutes from the shoot.

I can bring the clay pigeon thrower if anyone wants to try to break some clays.

If you bring the clay thrower let me know I got an unopened case of clays and an O/U sitting for years that's still unfired haven't shot one since I'm 12 haha

If it's OK with our host I could dig that. I have a mixture of shells, many of which are too large a shot to use at my local range and I haven't shot clays in about 50 years.

Bring enough hotwings for 40 - you'll be glad you did and so will your new-found friends....

With everyone being quarrantined and all (Uh-huh...) now is probably a good time to test out your recipe for the rest of us ...

When I lived in Hawaii (for 14 years in the way-back machine), if you were invited to a party, dinner, etc. you always brought your best recipe, and lots of it. If you just showed up with a couple of bags of chips and dips (NOOBS who recently moved there), you landed on the "Never invite these folks ever again" social memo pad.

Well, that's one dark side of Hawaiian social courtesy....

Went and took a short hike there after supper. Everything is open, anyone wanting to use that camping spot is good to go.

What's it like there? I'm not adverse to camping but someone mentioned that the bugs are memorable there and I do like to shower after a scorching day in the sun.

And if so desired I can score a side of pork belly and make a fresh side of bacon for the event. They weight around 10 lbs and I can slice it thick.
