I want to thank everyone who attended for a safe shoot. It was hot in the sun but very tolerable in the shade with a breeze all day. Walleye Hunter thank you for the help at set up and the opportunity to shoot the 50. Rob thanks for co ordinating and cooking and clean up. Sam cant say enough for the help late into the afternoon and toobigtofit. All those who attended shared great food, and drink made donations ,and did a meticulous job policing their areas made clean up easy. Was nice seeing new faces to put with the names. We were a little rushed with this shoot due to the past Months events. I am sure next year will be better yet. Thank you all! It is sharing the day with outstanding people who share and help that makes it worth while doing.

I had a great time yesterday meeting and talking to everyone, KC Jones, Walleye Hunter, RL Suehr, Knightshift, Gixxer, scruff, pahuntingfool thank you again for hosting. And anyone else I didn't get the name of (including the guy who made "the Simpsons'" veal joke in the food tent at lunch lol )

    Looking forward to future get-togethers.

This was a fun day for sure, my first PAFOA group shoot. It was nice to finally put faces to some names.

Thank you Greg for hosting and Rob for running things behind the scenes. Gixxer had some sweet signal canons, which the video didn't do justice. TooBigToFit, thank you so much for your time and equipment helping to install the new glock sights in the hot sun.

    Looking forward to next year!

It looks like a good time was had!

Too bad I had to work this weekend. It would have been nice to touch base with those I met at the rally in June!

Any time you want to swing up this way and hit the range let me know.

The tarp, three spring clips (at top) and two small bungees around the legs (at bottom) worked out beautifully. It's a solution a) I'll be implementing my own self next year and b) I heartily recommend. I did have to move it from the rear of the pavilion to the left side around midday, but had shade inside all day as a result.

Also gotta give a shout-out to @DrillNFill for lending me tape for my targets. Another 'checklist' item I won't forget next year.

Other 'learnings for next time' I had, in case it helps anyone:

A 3x3 table is not big enough
Cooler & Ice is a must
Flags are great decor and I have a few I'll bring next time... Just not good for proper shade.
Gotta get some steel. Really enjoyed shooting at other folks', but having my own would be great (and to share)
I really need some more interesting guns. My stuff is very vanilla.
    Extras are good. All extras.

The share-and-share-alike sentiment at both of these events I've attended has been great. From the plentiful food & drink, to "Oh hell yeah, please do shoot my guns!" to basic stuff like "Shit I forgot tape, do you have any?" is what makes this group great. I'll work hard to be more a sharer than a sharee next time :-)
It really is the people that make this shoot so great. I always humbles me how its possible to meet so many good people through the internet. Everyone helps and shares with everyone. It is without a doubt the best gathering I have ever been privileged to attend.

If you based your beliefs on what we see on the news you would never believe that we could be the awesome, friendly, fun loving crowd that we are. Bummer you couldn't make it, maybe next year.
