Sig p320 compact 45acp?
Anyone have one or shot one? How is it compared to a Glock 30? Was thinking of picking up a Glock 30 but saw the p320's come in 45acp. Never shot any of the p320's but I do like Glocks and have shot and enjoyed the G30 in the past. Also like my p365 and they seem similar in design.
Anyone have one I can try? 🙂

I haven't shot the Sig P320 45 but everything I have read about them has been positive. I did own a P320 compact in 9mm and it was a great shooter, not much recoil, good accuracy and no malfunctions. I'm sure the 45 is probably as good. Try asking your question over at www.sigforum.com, lots of guys over there own every Sig ever made.

I think Sig temporarily suspended making them. Right now I believe they are only making the P320s in 9mm. The other calibers aren*t on their website.

I had a Sig P320 compact 45 and a Gen4 Glock 30. I still have the Glock but not the Sig.

Re: Sig p320 compact 45acp?
I talked with a SIG rep at the Harrisburg show in February because I saw they cut down choices on their P220. (.45) He said they did a survey of what inventory was out in stores and in distributors and felt there was enough stock for now in anything .45, .40 or .357SIG. Demand for those calibers was not that strong to support manufacturing any at this point in time. (.40 and .357SIG especially.) If they saw a demand, they could do more runs in the future, but for now the industry is pretty much entrenched in 9mm.
I have shot a number of 9mm P320's in several variations. Shoot great. Still love my .45 P220. You might still find a .45 P320 in the used market. If I remember correctly, the serialized FCU for the .45 was not compatible with the other smaller calibers which annoyed some people. It was a bit larger along with the frame size.

The width of the slide was wider than the Glock 30, which has a pretty wide slide. I prefer the Glock trigger also.
