Re: PA transfer taking hours?
A month ago I could get a transfer completed over the phone in 5 minutes max... yesterday it took 71 minutes, longest I ever had.

Government set it up. Government insists it must be complied with. Government is incapable of holding up its end. SNAFU.

Re: PA transfer taking hours?
Waited 35 min on Saturday to get approved. Not the end of the world, but probably the longest I've ever waited.

Re: PA transfer taking hours?
Like I said, 3 pm cutoff.
Necessity is the mother of invention.
And with 3.74 million purchases last month, it is reasonable to expect a delay. It is also reasonable to expect, that with that many new buyers, there will be some inconsistancies, which will take longer. Wnen my new order comes in, I will be there when the doors open.Sed ego sum homo indomitus

Re: PA transfer taking hours?
Don't think so. It was a modern gun (shotgun).
I wonder if all these people panic buying guns DURING these situations might now understand that the time to buy and train was long ago, BEFORE the problems start. But probably not. They'll forget what all the trouble was and vote for the same gun grabbing shitbirds running the worst cities where these folks live.
Thanks for the info. Figured folks on here'd know.It has to start someplace... It has to start sometime...

Re: PA transfer taking hours?
Just think, if we had a constitution that forbid government interference with citizens' guns, there wouldn't be a PICS problem.

Re: PA transfer taking hours?
Not all customers can come in before 3 pm ,just does not always work out that way . I prefer not to do any transfers after 2:30 pm because you often run the chance of getting stuck in the system for an hour or more. On Tuesday I was able to do three transfers after 2:30 no problem , Monday and WED sucked after 3 pm,it's a crap shoot every day is different. I had thought the the volume of transfers would start to drop off by now ,but we are not seeing that. I now believe that this trend will continue through the election. In a normal year I would do 55 to 80 transfers a month ,this year in Mar ,April ,May and 4 days in June I have done 506 transfers, this volume is way above the normal for me and it indicates that people in general have no faith that the gov't will protect them , the riots over the last week will just keep the buying going, I believe right through the election.
