How busy are gun shops with Floyd riots?
With all the rioting going on over the Floyd death I was wondering if any one has gone to their local gun shop recently. If so is there panic buying going on and who is buying? Regular gun owners or fearful first time buyers?

Re: How busy are gun shops with Floyd riots?
Well the other day I met my MIL and FIL at the LGS. They walked out with two hammerless S&W .38's. In their defense they had been looking at some guns but the LGS was all sold out. The FIL is not a first time gun owner. The MIL is AFAIK.
We had to schedule an appointment to get in. That took all of about one minute to get scheduled.Aggies Coach Really ??? Take off the tin foil bro.

With all the first-timers that came in the first month or so of Covid, I can't imagine there's anyone out there who wants a gun that doesn't have one yet!

Tanners in Bucks posted on their Facebook page that the wait to get in yesterday was 5 hours long.
Nothing like waiting till the last minute (with how many warnings?) before you see a need to buy a firearm.

Re: How busy are gun shops with Floyd riots?
So what's the word here? What are inventories looking like in LGS's, big boxes and online retailers after a week of nationwide rioting? I just posted 3 guns for sale on Armslist late yesterday evening. Already, one, maybe two of them are sold. I might list a couple more if it's that much of a seller's market.
