    Default AR15 mag loaders

Like to get some opinions on mag loaders for AR15. I have a Lula for pistols. I like it, but it's the only experience I've had with mag loaders. I know they make one for AR mags, might get one for the range. Been looking at some of the bulkier loaders for home use. What yall think?

Get a 223 maglula. They're worth every penny. You put it over the top of the magazine, it locks into the mag catch, and there's a lever on top that you rock back and forth. It pushes the round top round down far enough that you can just drop the next one in without having to mash it down with your thumb. Also, if you want to unload the mag, you tilt it forward, rock the lever back and forth and all of the ammo falls out. I have one for 223 and just ordered one for 7.62x39 AR mags. The 223 fits and it kind of works but because the case diameter is different, I can't drop the 7.62 round in. I have to push it in.

I like the MagLULA since it's small enough to toss into a range bag, and you don't have to arrange all those round in a line.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Several years ago, when I took my younger brother to his first Oaks gun show, he bought me one of those AR mag loaders like the one in post #3, as a thank you gift. It works great and makes loading mags a breeze, I don't know what he paid for it but it's worth every cent.

Have both. They don't like lancers or magpuls. Got a pump and the auto butler creek psa was selling for 2 bills free shipping. Auto works but slow and has built in jam fixing so that ought to tell you something. It is mostly labor free. Pump didn't get to yet.
