I moved from a G43 to a G26 a few months back. Reload is a G19 mag with an XGrip, second reload is a PMAG 27 rounder, fits in my multi tool pouch along with light and multi tool.

I'm debating bringing out one of my pistol AR builds for the additional force multiplier...

It*s definitely not a perfect fit, but yea mine has the same approximate 1/8* gap between the bottom of the mag well and where the x grip sits on the 19 mag, but grip wise it still sits perfectly where my pinky lands so I decided just to leave it and not mess with it

Edit: Not sure why the picture uploaded upside down and can*t figure out how to flip it lol

A bazooka! No one wants to get shot by a bazooka.

Today I had this while I was out working...

Then my wife texts me that there is a planned protest not far from home.

Maybe this would have been the better choice?

    It's not a bazooka, but...

I usually carry an LCP or a shield depending on where I am going and what I am wearing. I am carrying the Shield now and an extra mag.But I have a normalcy bias...

Being that I mow lawns all day, I always have corded ear plugs hanging around my neck.

Silly? I'm in the same boat. I bough the battle belt on a whim, thinking I might use it in a carbine class, and the extremely small chance of SHTF. It has 4 AR mag pouches, 2 pistol mag pouches, drop-thigh holster for my P226, drop bag, Leatherman & flashlight pouches, etc. I'm not thinking it's so silly now, being able to go out with 150 rounds of 5.56 and 36 rounds of .40 S&W.

How "light weight" is your vest? Any ballistic protection is much better than nothing.
