    Very nice congrats! Do not attempt to work on it without proper gunsmithing screwdrivers/bits... You'll regret it.

    Good to know. Looks like I'll be looking at one of these in the near future. The uberti was nice, especially for the price with a really nice trigger, but the issues extraction the spent magnum shells was a huge pain.

    Thanks! But we don't have to worry about that. Some folks are born handy with mechanical things. But, not me. Some things are better left for folks with the know how.

    You'll see that the big screw on the left side may loosen up after a bit of shooting, so you may need the right tool for basic maintenance. I ended up putting a dab of blue loctite on that screw on my Italians.

    I have a Colt SSA which I purchased for $169 in 1971. It has a five and a half inch barrel and fires .357's.

    When I get tired of the gun jumping out of my hand I switch to .38's. The weight absorbs the recoil.
