I won't discount your knowledge of your infrastructure; all I can say is I was getting 502 on mozilla on one machine, no 502 on chrome on another, back to 502 on the mozilla machine, in succession, inside the span of a minute.
I can confirm I appear to be 100% now after tossing everything in the cache on mozilla, including cookies, which would indicate to me some state crumbs possibly.
I offer this a data point.

I truly appreciate the detailed reports. The more information I have the easier it is to focus in on the true root causes. Thank you!

I was just able to give you reputation, and am replying with quote from IE11. Can you provide more information?

When I tried it earlier, I clicked the Add Reputation star and nothing happened. Clicked it several times with no luck.
When I click the Reply With Quote, all I got was a busy symbol (the rotating series of six pale dots), on which it was stuck.
Seems to be working now. Maybe it was something on my end. Who knows?

That sounds more related to the intermittent server stability issues I am still smoothing out. That is unfortunately a lot more squishy and will take more data/tweaks than some of the other bugs.

As of now ​I believe all major issues related to the infrastructure migration have been fully resolved, aside from the ongoing tweaks to server stability and scaling which there is no real shortcut for. For that I mostly just need to watch the metrics related to resource usage, traffic, and autoscaling response times so I can dial in the precise combination of configurations that matches the shape of PAFOA's traffic.

I am also going to look into the character encoding issue related to quotes that was reported, because while not critically impacting the forum, could be the symptom of a larger problem.

Thank you for your patience, and I'll keep checking this thread regularly in case new issues pop up.
