This should be handled automatically for us by the underlying infrastructure now, in theory...

Just checking because I started to see the same issues from a couple years ago that we talked about.

I am also seeing slow behavior when writing to the database (posting, etc.) and keeping an eye on it.

More servers are continuing to scale up to meet the CPU/Memory targets we have set, I am hoping that once it finds equilibrium the 502/504 gateway errors will stop.

In the meantime, I am going to eat some lunch while things settle in so I can hope back in and start dealing with issues the rest of the afternoon.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the server instability while I dial things in.

When posting I have gotten a "leaving site" notification with the option to continue leaving or cancel. I cancel and reload the page to find that my post had posted. If I had canceled and hit 'post reply' again I would have double posted.

I have seen this happen as well, I am assuming it's related to the server lag when posting/editing. Definitely keeping a close eye on this behavior.

    Thank you for reporting!

I just deleted a double post from that.

Getting "502 Bad Gateway" often when hitting the post button also.

Based on the tweak I deployed about an hour ago, raising the memory of the containers running the forum, my metrics are showing a significant drop in error pages being returned.

For people who were previously reporting errors, has this improved for you?

I am also seeing significantly more reliable posting/editing of replies.
