Wink Welp, looks like I'm goin' to prison.

Just called the Monroe County SO to check if they are still doing fingerprinting before I finally submit the eForm 1 for my 733ish build. Told me they don't do it anymore, and I gotta go to the correctional facility off of PA-33 to get em done.

I ride past it on 33 once in a while when I go down that way. First time I saw it when I moved here I went "Oh, neato, there's a prison right nearby" Guess I finally get to go check it out.

I've been kinda putting off this build because the process just seemed like a hassle I didn't want to get into yet. But seeing the reports of 1 month approval times for the eForm got me excited to just go and do it.

You can fingerprint yourself if you want to.

This. Or anyone can assist you. The only "requirement" is that they be done properly.

No special certification or status needed to actually attempt it, and a shitty print won't be accepted just because someone with badge rolled it.

Good to know, plenty of current and retired LE in my family one of them should know how to do it.

Amazon fingerprint pad is around $6 shipped. I tired my local police last time and took 3 trips until they wanted to do it and $20. Plus the dumb questions on "what's this for"

Easier for someone else to get a good print than self rolled. Get some file folders to practice on. Should have a way to hold card down while rolling. The bunker gun shop rolls prints for customers.
