    Default Sling recommendations?

How ridiculous is it that i can build an entire AR with no major issue but couldn't tell you anything any slings?

I'm looking for a sling for my various AR15 platforms.

I believe all of my rifles have a qd port in the butt stock or the end plate. A few have them on the handguard as well.

Ideally I'd like a sling that does single and double point. I saw a few that did that. Naturally all with mixed reviews. I'm just not sure what my preference is yet.

I only really want 1 sling. Preferably under the 50$ mark (but totally willing to entertain more if it is the right fit). QD connection is a must.

All of my military rifles (US and foreign) wear a standard USGI-style , OD green 1 1/4 web sling with the exception of my full size AR. It wears the same thing , only in black.

Uncle Mikes has 1 1/4 QD swivels.

    Vtac.
The attachment points of most slings can be adjusted to accommodate any setup.

Blue Force Gear Vickers sling or a Magpul. The Magpul's come in different variations, pick your pleasure.

I got magpuls. You can get one with QDs on each end or one with QDs on one end and a locking clip on the other end for guns with sling loops up front and QD mounts in the back. Seems like a lot of money for what they are but they seem very high quality, 2 or single point adjustable and length adjust on the fly.

Yep, I tried the VTAC but the metal relaease buckle scratches the finish and honestly seemed awkward when compared to the plastic slider on the Magpul Two Point Sling - Quick Adjust. Love the Magpul sling and have them on all of my ARs.

Bought a paracord one from Acid Tactical and I love it. High quality in my opinion. Super fast shipping too.

    I wanted to support a family-owned business.

    Lots of options. https://www.acidtactical.com/550-par...le-slings.html

    I've got a review/picture thread commenting on a few that I own.
If I can find it, I'll post the link.

Slings are very personal choices. I dismiss anyone who says some crap like "Brand X". DONE!

They all have their own pluses and minuses and different features.

What you mount it on, how it will be used, all sorts of factors.

I prefer two point adjustable quick adjustable slings, one point if you like your nuts beat to shit for no reason or if your riding security in a vehicle all day. Three point have zero use.

I would say lots of people do not know how to use a sling other then hanging a rifle on a shoulder or perhaps a old GI sling for NRA Hi power matches. I know I really didn't until the last few years until my disability made it harder for me to off hand a long gun without one.

If your just looking for one to throw over your shoulder then any basic sling will do.

    These helped a lot.

The major brands that hold up and work have already been mentioned so I wont bother with any of that.
