The Shockwave Raptor grip is soooo much better than the vertical pistol grip. 10/10, would recommend.

I'm not. I have a 18.5" Mossberg setup with the shockwave grip and "breacher" barrel (because it looks cool, no other reason). It's a fun shooter if you're running low recoil buck through it. The vertical grips put all he force into your wrist and are less than pleasant as a result.

He likes his gun, it's cool, I showed him what made mine better to me. My gun makes the need for the slightly shorter Shockwave pretty much nil as I don't really have much use at present for a long gun in a vehicle, and if I did it would be an AR variant.

Only thing worse that these birdhead grips on the tac and shock wave guns is gangbanging side hold.

I have no problem aiming my Honcho, at chest/shoulder level, out to about 50' to 75'. Even at hip level, with a little bit of practice, it's a lot like learning instinctive shooting with a bow.
