Your experience and advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I've used local tasty-freeze, Walmart, gas stations, fast food joints, police stations, grocery store, side of the road, etc, etc.

Usually my method too. Gun shop if possible, empty end of big parking lot if not. Keep it low and dont brandish...never had issues. Rarely a park and ride location, if I trust the buyer. Once when I was younger, a restaurant parking lot that neighbored a daycare (not my sharpest moment then, and definitely not one to repeat now...be aware of your surroundings).

Supermarket, wawa, CVS, park, literally whatever landmark is halfway between the buyer and seller. Don't wave it around and doubt anyone will notice.

May as well just go to an FFL - there would be more privacy that way! haha
I am not going to say a long arm transfer is not going to raise any attention in our lobby, but we have recommended our lobby to anybody doing a transfer, sale, etc of anything such as Ebay, classified ads, etc.

Bought my last one in a gas station parking lot. It was broad day light. Turns out I knew the guy. My last optic purchase was in a restaurant parking lot. Knew that guy too. Its a small world.

Oh, absolutely. Our station has a few parking spots designated with signage as reserved for meet ups for selling things.
I just wouldn't do it with a rifle - but that's because it defeats part of the reason I love FTF transfers - it's nobody else's business but mine and the seller's/buyers
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

I have met people just about everywhere, from crowded places to remote. Ftf transactions for long guns are legal in pa, so i don't over think it.

Parking lot purchase of an arsenal's worth (on a TV scale) of .223 today. So far, no helo or black Suburbans.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
