That is not a reason to toss aside the strongest 2A protector we have in the PA Legislature.

What, no facts? I said nothing about tossing him away, I commended him for the Impeachment proposal. Calling someone out for saying something stupid is not "Selective outrage".

Calling our best 2A Rep a "fucking embarrassment" in the open PA politics forum is somehow supposed to help our 2A rights?

And him making comments like he did really helps "The cause" also. Everybody, myself included, always bitches about equal treatment. This is equal treatment. You take the good with the bad.

There are ways to let our allies know you disagree with them without causing harm to the 2A rights of us all.

This impeachment thing could be bad. Governor Bungle is according to the marxist press the most popular Governor that Pennsylvania has ever had along with his sharp witted health secretary Dr Blunder who is on top of every move the virus makes that's why she intelligently moved her mother out of the home where the virus was going to be sent by Dr Blunder. Why anyone ever consider impeaching this stunning and brave cave virus warrior. Are they cowards?

This story would be a smash hit in Japanese Manga. The Adventures of Governor Bungle and Dr Blunder. The first episode could be "Two heroes sent the State's Economy into a tailspin and further corrupted the electoral process". The second Episode could be "Two Heroes Didn't have to Answer Anyone's Questions Because Asking Questions makes You Conspiracy Theorist"

Pandering to one's base by committing an act that has zero chance of achieving its goal - that's virtue signaling no matter which side does it. No carbs, less filling.

I'm not sure that's what the purpose is.
I think it's a way to rally the members of the Legislature into a cohesive front against Wolf's endless usurpation of power.
To create a focus point to coalesce around a common primary purpose.
The impeachment itself is almost incidental.
