Liable for what? A defect in manufacturing or design, yes. Misuse of the product, no.

Don't need no "high court" to figure that out.

Than can automobile manufacturers be held liable for deaths caused by criminal misuse of their vehicles?

    How about while driving drunk?

    Can the auto dealers?

    Tire manufacturers?

    Gas stations?

No. They don’t fit the narrative of the evil gun and it’s owner.

Sure it can. There's 'evil' high-performance sports cars. Why does anyone NEED a vehicle with 500+ horsepower that does 150mph or more unless they're a criminal trying to outrun the police??

Why make car that can go faster than the highest speed limit in the USA? Sue the bastards for dangling the speed in front of me on my speedometer. Can I sue the syringe manufacturer if the doctor doesn’t use it correctly?
