I understand the draw of a classic M16 clone, M16A1 was my first, so to speak. What I don't understand is why someone would want an M16 clone with a detachable carry handle, kind of ruins it for me. If I were to get a classics, it would have to have a fixed carry handle,
That’s easy, M16A4 clone if you choose not to use a carry handle down the line.

Yup it*s a standard AR15 lower, they call it an A2 because of the A2 stock.

This is what your going to end up with when you mate that lower with the PSA upper then just add your optics. This is the same upper you ordered from PSA using a Anderson lower and A2 stock. The carry handle is also PSA's and they are very good quality.

Exactly! And I think Aero makes a lower that actually says M16A4 if you want to get a 'more accurate clone'. (Still needs a third pin hole ..........)

Will work just fine. Unless you want something that says M16 (see above)

Most places are out of stock like PSA and Aero, but DSA happens to still have them.

Just placed the order with DS Arms over the phone. Are DS Arm products good? Never ordered from them before, first time.

I have been buying parts from them for well over a decade, and they have been in the gun manufacturing business since the late 80's specifically FAL style rifles.

They are defiantly good to go, and if you were to have any issues they would rectify it asap.

They certainly should let you if you want to test it, but I don't envision there being a problem with fit. Remove the BCG to show them it's unloaded first.
