What is this ?
Only been reloading for about a year. I do 9 mm and yesterday when I was checking them with the head space cage, and I ran across one I never saw before.
The head stamp says WCC and then it says 12. There is another marking on the case, but it's just too small to make out even with a magnifying glass.
Does anybody what this is?
PS I love this site because you guys are fountain of information. Joe

Re: What is this ?
Thanks fellows, I never thought to Google it. When I picked up my brass this was in it. I wonder how many times that thing has been reloaded in eight years?

Re: What is this ?
I’ve got tons of that stuff from range pick up. Its good brass and seems to disappear before it becomes unserviceable. Like gghbi mentioned, it may have a red ring around the primer. If so, it’s once-fired. Also, some don’t have the colored sealant, but you’ll know it’s a once-fired when you try to recap. If its really tight going in, the primer pocket still has a military crimp and should be reamed. HTH.

Re: What is this ?
Thanks fellows, from that one piece of brass you taught me a lot. No, it didn't have a sealant around it and the primer went in pretty easy. Joe

Well if you ever need to determine what a cartridge headstamp is again here's a resource. http://cartridgecollectors.org/?page=headstampcodes
