Yep. I will probably be moved back to Pennsylvania before Wolf ends that ongoing so called opioid emergency.

Sorry if my OP wasn't clear. I didn't intend to convey that this was a 'stop'. It was more like, 'I've done this for years, and haven't been stopped (and this isn't a stop either). I have had a local PD at a wawa ask me how I liked the Beretta (about 2 years back), and I didn't count that as a stop either.

This is how the cops are supposed to respond to a "man with a gun" call. Show up and observe before interacting. You were doing nothing threatening or otherwise illegal so they just sat in the car. Good on the cops.

The question so many here would like to ask is this:

If he would have approached you, or tried to arrest you, would you have cleared leather and started to kill cops?

If not, why did you even have a gun with you?
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

    Beat me to it.

    Sounds disappointed.

Well, in those past years you weren't also wearing a face diaper, so . . .

    Agreed.

My concern is that it was wholly dependent on the cops who got the call. If you'd gotten a different set who fell into 'petty tyrant' mode, I could see it going far differently. Glad it did NOT... but it could have - easily.

Sounds like the officer deserves some kudos. This is is the best possible reaction to someone calling LE over an open carry sighting. They have to respond, which he did. Saw it was no trouble, did not even bother you. Perfect.

If it was a radio call, good response. However I would think they would send more than a single Trooper for a man with a gun call. Chances are it was a coincidence.

Depends on how the blissninny who called it in, described the situation to the dispatcher.
