They either pick it up verbally, track your movements as well as store and monitor searched information. If your connected then potentially everything you say, do or travel to is out there for everyone else to see if they know how to get it and I would bet my bank account Google is sharing it with who ever they want including media and LE.

I think you guys missed the point I was trying to make. I was responding to someone who was stating that the OP should have been slamming the media, not LE.

My point was that LE purposely released this guy's search history to the media, knowing full well that they would portray his arrest for fraud in a way that made it look like he was planning a mass shooting... thus giving the OP plenty of reason to slam LE.
