    He didn’t provide a citation of statute or case law, which is what I was hoping for.

    Thanks for the heads up on actual lawyer in the thread though, I’m new guy and didn’t realize. I also am not a lawyer, I just read a lot of case law and wonder if I made bad career choices

    Check your citation: it’s not a temporary transfer, and the receiver isn’t using them for a sporting purpose. The actions of the OP certainly don’t fit the intent of the exception.
