Default What are your price limits on ammo?

Like if you're buying online or at a store? Give me calibers and what your upper limit is. I currently own the traditional 223/5.56, 9mm, 22LR and 12ga combo. 12ga I don't really look for because it does nothing for me other than look good and collect dust. I have probably between 3000-3500 rounds of various M193 clones and maybe 1000 rounds of 9mm. I would be looking to add some 9mm and wanna know what a good limit is. I see Gunbot pings at $.28/round. Is that a good threshold? I would even pay a couple bucks more per case if I found a decent deal on shipping. I used to buy all local but a lot of locals are dried up or even more limited than the internet sales.

Arms unlimited has been restocking 115 and 124gr S&B between $215 and $230.00 shipped and they don’t charge tax.

Sign up for the email restock notice, they have been steady with restocking for the last 3 weeks. Sportsman’s guide also has decent preorder prices on some options too in 9mm and .223/5.56.

I’m pretty stocked on all calibers so I will wait until things come back down and it’s back to business as usual.

I'm watching another thread in the classifieds that I hope I can jump on after pay day this week. But I will def keep that mind if the other falls through.

SG always struck me as being kinda odd with their discounted club member pricing thing. Although TS USA does the same thing with their Prime membership. And I already get the Arms Unlimited emails. Just have yet to jump on anything. Although I did buy a Colt upper for my pistol from them and was happy with the transaction on that.

I don't keep up with new ammo prices that much but $13-16 a box for 9mm FMJ sounds high. Especially when buying in bulk. Couldn't you get a box under $10 not too long ago?

Right before this most decent 9mm brass cased range ammo in 115 and 124gr was $169-$179.00 a case. Steel cased 9mm was as low as $130.00 a case.

The deal I just got from AU for $215 shipped was the best I have seen for in stock right now ammo with tax and shipping. Comes out to $10.75 per box.

I know this isn't the question you posed, but for high volume, low cost ammo, consider reloading.

I load 9mm for $0.09/round, .223 for about $0.11/round all the way up to 6.5 CM long range loads for about $0.30/round.
I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

Not quite up to the $15-18 I remember from the last panic, but definitely well up there. Earlier this year prices were dipping to near $9 in bulk.
