heading to the range outside of french creek in chester county
state gamelands #43 it is a free range, has anyone been there? can i shoot my shotgun?

I don't know if it's reopened yet. It had been closed for quite some time.

yes its open... yes its free... you can only shoot slugs out of your shotgun, no multiple projectiles

if its the place im thinking, right next to french creek state park, you can shoot trap on the left and the range is on the right. I've always done that anyway and never had an issue.

It is open but from what I saw the shotgun area is not open. That was like 3 weeks ago.

trap portion is closed permanently, claims are its always a mess, and nobody picks up thier trash.
range has been modified, the only targets left are the 100 yard, and 50yd rifle/slug gun targets.
