    Default Smith and Wesson 629

This is just a stock 629-8 with 6 1/2” barrel. Nothing fancy, nothing classic or hard to find. I just thought I’d share what I think is a nice photo of it. Thanks for looking and hope everyone is well.

Did it come from the factory polished or did you do it?

My two clubs are closed. You are doing the equivalent of showing heroin to a junkie.

I did it. Nothing crazy just enough to get some light scratches out. There’s still more to go.

    I love the S&W 629's. Here's one of mine with the 8 3/8" barrel.

    Real beauties!

At some point, S&W will finish my 29 correctly and return it to me. I got it in early February...and it's been back twice..

Nice, what polish you using? I’ve got a 8 3/8 inch version that I use for hunting around here in tight spots. Shine might scare the critters off.

Just Flitz, from the tube. Not running super hard.
The scratches are still there just less noticeable.
I think the shine camouflages them more than anything.
