XS Big Dots..........I Like'em

Just purchased a set of DXT2 in yellow....didn't disappoint, everything I thought they would be... very quick front sight acquisition...I like'em..anyone shootin' XS Big Dots here.

I had a set of Big Dots on a Glock 30. Every other pistol I have did not have Big Dots on it. I found that the point of impact on the target would be in the center of the dot. I use more of a traditional six o'clock hold with every other pistol I own. They would make a fine defensive sight, but I would have to change out all of my other night sights to match. Just me. Enjoy them!

I believe the design is specifically intended for easy alignment with center mass, a defensive/offensive gun battle need, as opposed to the needs of a target (bullseye) shooter. Kind of like you wouldn't take a canoe out onto the ocean.

I agree 100 percent. I wasn't knocking them. Every pistol I own including those carried at work have other sight systems on them.

my eyes aren't that bad but I do need glasses for reading

big dots are only sights I can actually get on target without my glasses on

I like 'em too. Have a set on my Para Commander. They're not for bullseye work that's for sure , but within handgun fighting distance , the front sight is the one that counts.

I have hit where I wanted with a decent group semi-point shooting my KelTec P3AT at 3-7+ yards. The sights on the gun are mere suggestions, hence my coining of the term semi-point. Aligning the top of the slide in general direction manner does the job.

What I am suggesting is in a typical distance handgun fight alignment of sights in the normal sense may not really need to come into play.

I have a Big Dot front on my Beretta 92 with Wilson Battlesight rear. I love that combo. The rear that came from XS did not do it for me.
