    Default More Mail Ballot Strangeness

    ballot-2.jpg

In addition to the general weirdness about mail voting & ballot it seems that the Republican Party, at least in Lancaster, chooses to segregate their State Committee candidates by gender.

    What's up with that?

    Back to the 19th Century?

That’s state wide, and both Republican & democrat. Local committee is done the same way, 1 male and 1 female from each precinct

Edit to add, that’s not just mail in ballot, that is the actual ballot

Does that mean that I can’t vote all males?

That was eliminated in Chester county a few years ago.

Separation is for quota purposes. In the future there will be a black column and a LTQB+ column

Maybe for local committee, but for state committee I would assume it’s uniform across the state. Maybe not.

Either way, to the OP, it’s not something new that pertains just to mail-in ballots

Along with every other skin tone and alphabet group, no doubt...

    Thanks for the clarification!
