There is a difference between live and let live tolerance, and acceptance with admiration. If s/he can perform the job, fine. However, s/he represents the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the state in which I reside; ergo, represents me and what I come from, which is a part of the job. Conclusion: fail.

I am old, and come from a time and place that would not have accepted such a situation. Were we wrong then, or are they wrong now? Remember...the pendulum always swings, else we do not progress. Progress can go in many directions.

I read a piece about him the other day. Apparently after 20 years after his death,
it was found that he was innocent and got railroaded and h tried telling his story to no avail.
