Re: Emergency Dispatch language.
I just recorded a couple on my phone but have no idea how to upload it so I will try to transcribe it. (Changed the address slightly)
BEEEEP 322 cover 322A, a medical alert alarm, 1234 Shannon Dr, off of Shannon Blvd, Box Sixty-six Fourteen Lower Providence
322 is Medic 322, Lower Providence Community Ambulance, the main station. 322A is a substation at the other end of the township.
Shannon is an enormous retirement community in Lower Providence.
Another:
BEEEP, TONE 355 Respiratory emergency, XYZ Nursing Home, 1234 Hunting Pike, between Elm rd and Horse rd, Box Five Two, Lower Moreland
355 is the Medic unit of the Bryn Athyn Fire Co.

Re: Emergency Dispatch language.
Seems pretty standard to me. Our county transmits the tones, identifies the stations and units on the call, describes the box, the type of call, the address, the township, repeats all of this again and ends with the time.

Re: Emergency Dispatch language.
Hearing the box on dispatch is getting pretty uncommon. It just isn’t needed anymore, and although what is due is set up in boxes, it changes so often due to apparatus being out of service it is of little help.

Re: Emergency Dispatch language.
Thanks for the thread.
As a result I punched in a frequency for a random police channel in the area and I am listening to it.
There is a call about a suspicious vehicle....due to how it is parked. Someone is going to CHECK IT OUT!!!
