Is the range a business or a club? Do they show a profit and pay taxes on gains?

Governor Dick Tater said you could go out to exercise. Just be sure to do ten jumping jacks between mag changes!

I was going to say the same thing. My club is not open to the general public. There are rules and requirements for membership, which can be denied. While dues are paid, I am not sure of the tax status.

As long as there is no large gatherings and distance is kept, there shouldn’t be an issue. I see it as a form of exercise and stress relief.

The club I belong to closed, Delaware County Field & Stream Association, it's a private club. Not sure if it's on the Govs list but the powers that be decided to close.

I am sad they closed our club. Shooting right now would help with this.

I finally got in at new Holland this year and was only able to visit twice before they closed up indefinitely. I don't see how a private club becomes beholden to this governor order. Close the buildings for safety, but let people go enjoy their membership. Its real easy to stay for away from people outside.

Piggybacking off the new "constitutional protection" of gun shops, how do places that allow the training to put 2a rights to use not qualify?

Does this "stay at home order" stop people from shooting on private gun club land? I tried to read a little bit about it.. it looks like many public ranges are closed.. but I see a lot of private clubs still open.. just with reduced activities..

Well, both my indoor range and outdoor range clubs have locks on the doors and gates, so how would LEO stop shooting? I have shot at both recently, no problems.

What really blows is I finally joined a club then 3 days later it closes, now the kids are home for the rest of the year and the wife goes back to work a week from tomorrow so if the club opens back up in May then I still cannot go because I have the kids home schooling.

My neighbors may need to get used to rifle fire.

My son would shoot everyday if he could the daughter not to much. We shoot .22lr and center fire pistols here at home from time to time but I have a stack of AR & AK rifles here that need to be sighted in. I guess I can’t complain since I went the last 6 years without being a club member.
