Fair enough. But with this small, tight knit community, how hard can it be to convince the other people in on the order to split an extra 7% of cost and bullets amongst themselves? Shouldn’t be that hard.

That wasn’t the question, but I inferred your keeping the other half by your answer.

Apparently so. And while he has to pony up the $21,600 he will eventually be in possession of the Ammo and should be able to sell it. But he wants us to know how his transaction hit a bump in the road and not to deal with Will.

Sometimes, saving a few bucks on lawyers doesn't save you much.

For a $300K deal, it would pay to have a basic 1-page contract drawn up, covering the basics and consequences. As it is, there's a statute of frauds issue, which might be overcome with enough texts and emails and the check itself, which counts as a writing.

Contracts not only exist for when things go sideways, they help to prevent things from going sideways, by laying out the size of the hammer that awaits violators, and by specifying what the deal actually is (often a problem, even among honest guys.)

Can you link yourself? I know it'll take a while but something to do during the off months.

I link my own .50's (its fun) but not thousands of rounds like the mini goes through in minutes.

Yeah its a lot but depending on the linker it cant be that bad
Some guys have auto linkers. A friends father had a auto linker for his 50,
supposedly did a ton at a time. I can do a thousand in a couple hours or less.

It goes fast trust me. I mean if you're only saving a a grand or so, probably not worth the aggravation.
