Freedom Tactical refused to receive a gun from Buds Gun Shop for me.

Buds undercuts the fuck out of other dealers. MFR's not making them follow MAP prices.
So a segment of dealers want to freeze them out by refusing transfers or jacking up fees for guns from them and a couple others.

The only loyalty I have when it comes to business is my own wallet. Does the gun store give a shit if my bills are paid ??? I go to any shop that gives me the best deal. Does this make me selfish.......ABSOFUCKINGLUTLY. But its just business. And if you want my business, ya gotta have a lower price than the other guy.

How about this: any given person can run a BGC on themselves and, if successful, receives some kind of blanket authorization to purchase, good for X amount of time. Sellers only need to confirm this authorization is in place.

Federal law allows for people with a concealed carry permit to have a background check exemption for the duration of the permit. It is up to the state that issued the permit. I was exempt from per-purchase background checks before I moved to PA.

I say fuck em. If a b&m store won't do FTF transfer service - if and when this shit ends, don't do business there of any kind and spread the word to all who might care to listen. I don't like Target Master even though it's close by so only use for ammo in a pinch. Guess I'll stop that, too.

I agree, vote with your wallet! I say it all the time, take care of those who take care of you. My preference is to always spend my money locally over a big store, such as Cabela's.

IIRC it's in the UFA but the PSP has never implemented it, they probably don't want to lose that $2 per BGC.

I asked a friend that works at a gun shop if they were doing internet transfers and he said no. The main reason is they switched to a point of sale system which does away with the bound book replacing it with a computer based one. That requires every firearm that comes in to have it’s bar code scanned added to the computer and a new shop bar code printed and added to the box for shop inventory and bound book keeping records.every transaction from another dealer or a person to person transfers has to typed in . The old book was 5mins max writing in by hand who it came from and who it was going to., new system is 20 mins and there just to busy. They have sold 500 guns since March 1 st and have been restocked with 200 guns last week that they had to add to their point of sale system.
