Where do you guys shoot?
Do you go to public ranges, private ranges, your own range on your property, leased property or owned, a friend's range?
I belong to a fish and game club that has a decent range but it doesn't allow some types of shooting I would like to do. I want to set up my own range, have the option of shooting at night, practical shooting, etc.
Do you guys own your land and build your own ranges? The Hostler

Re: Where do you guys shoot?
I have my own land and can use some of my neighbors as well. I can shoot when I want but shy away from a lot of rifle shooting because I don’t want to bother my neighbors with it. I recently joined a new gun club that allows members way more freedom then any other that I know of in the area. Once this virus garbage is over I plan to spend a lot of time there.

Back yard.
Worn out tires are the skeleton of the berm/backstop. Filled them with clay from the yard.

Re: Where do you guys shoot?
Before this madness closed it, my wife and I would shoot every weekend at our local indoor range.
Towards hunting season I will go to our local outdoor PGC range to shoot out to 100 yards with my hunting handguns. But, those are shut down now too.
I do have the ability to shoot outdoors at a friends property.

Re: Where do you guys shoot?
My range, my property. I am limited to 100yds safely, which sucks at times. And the not wanting to be a dick neighbor factor sometimes keeps me from shooting as often as I would like. Or at least that's my excuse.

Re: Where do you guys shoot?
I am lucky, over the last 3 years I have had a membership at two excellent ranges. PMSC and Keystone Shooting Center. My wife and I really think that these two organizations are top notch... I just wished I lived a little closer to both (1 hour to PMSC and 30 min to Keystone).
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Re: Where do you guys shoot?
Last year I bought 23 acres so I can dig a shooting pit and have a 100 yard range with 180 degree side berms. I got tired of playing by other people’s rules. So far it is a very pro 2A neighborhood with the sound of people shooting rapidly two or three times a week when the weather is nice.

Private club.
Airguns in the backyard, and occasionally inside.

Member only gun club. The boy and I were there today, along with a few other shooters. We all had a good time and no range rules were broken.
