LOL.....so I just remembered this from my childhood......she would set the onions out and chant in german "Vaxn vi a tsibele, mit deyn kop aun fis in der erd".

Literal translation......Grow like an onion with your head and feet in the ground......wow.

I've drank stuff from the hills...…
the last wine I had swore me off any more homemade stuff from that area...
