OCing at UPS store, PSP showed up

I have not posted here in a while.

Today I had to go make a drop off at UPS. In a big strip mall, lots of other stores and a huge parking lot. My household has been extremely conscientious about no visitors and staying at home. Wife has cancer and is on chemo. Have not been 'out in public' since early March.

First time 'out in public' today. OCing my Beretta 92FS in a leather thumbbreak. Had to wait in line outside the store, only one person inside at once is the new policy. Was wearing a mask, as most people were.

Waited outside for about 5 minutes. Two other guys were behind me in line. When it was my turn, I Did the drop-off and left. As I walk into the parking lot, a PSP cruiser pulls into the nearest spot to the UPS store and parks directly across from the UPS store. The trooper in the car looks right at me as I cross the parking lot and get into my SUV. I drove away, and nothing happened.

I wonder...did some busy body, either one of the guys waiting in line, or the guy in front of me, call the police? Maybe someone in their car in the parking lot saw me? Thoughts? I guess we'll never know, but it was an odd coincidence.

I've open carried many years in PA, and have never been stopped by LE.

Probably. Open carry+mask+eye protection= some people being twice as scared! ;-) ;-)

Does OC during an emergency qualify for stop and ask? I believe you need a LTCF to carry OC or CC right now even outside Philly.
