It's a good carry gun it splits time between my M&P9c as carry.
Although only 8 rounds it is my most accurate pistol, you can buy 10 round mags too.

Also it is on the tad heavy side, but I forgive sig for that

Big enough as in rounds or caliber?

I've had one for about five years now but it's 40S&W not 9mm. It's a great liittle gun, easy to conceal and very accurate.

    good
I've had my 239 .9mm for awhile now and it's my regular CC. I have no problems or issues with it. I put Hogue grips on it to get a better feel and it widen the grip a bit but it's still easily concealed and great to carry.
    I think you'll like it.

Do you guys worry at all about the rubber of the Hogues catching when trying to draw from concealment? I've heard people talk about it before, but wondered if maybe it was overblown.

I have the rubber Hogue grip and never had a problem drawing it concealed. I do practice presenting it from concealment quite a bit.

I use a P239 as one of my CCWs.

They are on the heavy side (25 oz) when you compare them to some of the other manufacturers sub compacts, but the P239 wasn't designed to be a pocket gun.
The added weight makes the P239 a pleasure to shoot no matter what caliber you are shooting 9mm, .40S&W, or .357sig. They are also extremely accurate for a small gun. The single stack mags make them very easy and comfortable to conceal, and I don't feel under gunned with 8 + 1 rounds of 9mm or 7+1 of .40S&W or .357sig.

I carry a P239 SAS 9mm in a Smart Carry during the summer when I'm wearing shorts, or in an Alessi OWB holster when I don't feal like carrying my bigger bulkier P229.

I have the Hogue grips on three of my P239s and the stock factory SAS wood grips on my SAS.
I prefer the wood grips to the Hogues for a CCW, and the Hogues for a house, car, or range gun.

To me, it's a personal preferance... and a little overblown. I have a better grip drawing adn firing my 239 then I did with the orginial grip.
