How bout this idea. Rent a couple pit bulls w/their master. When POS tries to walk out, kindly ask the POS where is his free shopping permit from their welfare department. If not, you have two choices 1- leave your bag and get the free shopping permit or try to make it thru the two pits. Have a nice day.

Who said anything about shooting anybody? Not me. Justice can be meted out in many different ways.

Remember, police officers are no different than any other cross section of the population. There are those who do the minimum and those who excel. Some excel because of natural talent, others put in extraordinary effort, some both. Some barely met the minimum standards. They squeaked by on the physical, qualified with their weapon by the last fraction of an inch and have only a minimum grasp of the actual law. Some are fully prepared to lay down their life to stop a shoplifter and others just want to get home to find out who the next masked singer is.

Some LEOs will step up. Others will go park and take a nap. Now more than ever, you are on your own.

Not in any way calling for vigilante action, just be prepared that the police wont show up if you call. Stay alert and hunker down.

I know and I shove Mad Maddy's, Missy Houlahan's and Katie Muth's faces in it ever chance I get. I feel vulnerable enough with the small arsenal that I have and I can't imagine the feeling of being totally defenseless in my home. Why would you need to shoot a person?

As I've mentioned elsewhere, we have no local police force, just the PSP. 2 accidents in front of our house, 1 with injuries; local vol. fire co. and ambulance on scene in under 5 minutes. 1st officer was 35+ minutes.

I/we are well aware that we are on our own...it's nothing new for us, and we are fine with it.
